Annee2cu

ANNEE comes from a very musical family & started singing from a very young age. Annee is the niece of the late Clyde Curtis, well-known Auckland jazz musician. Born and brought up in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland, New Zealand, Annee sang with her cousin and they occasionally gigged together from the age of 11. After attending several Country Music Clubs, Annee then went on to live band performances of her own. Her style is unique and has a powerful effect. Once heard, always remembered. She has performed at Sky City and other top Auckland venues.
She has recorded two songs on the Soundclick internet site, "I Cannot See to See You" and "Reflections". Both reached number one in their genre for New Zealand. They both reached the internet site's top 30 worldwide.
Annee carries a strong stage presence and she has often been compared to Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt. She covers a wide range of genres, from country rock through to blues, pop, jazz and rock.
