Breakthru (Gavin & Phyllis Prentice) are a two piece band from Geraldine, South Canterbury.
The band performs most weekends at Clubs, RSA’s, hotels, private functions, outdoor festivals or race meetings throughout the South Island with an extensive range of rock’n’roll, country rock, 50’s, 60’s,70’s and easy listening music. Gavin has been in bands for 48 years, Breakthru for 15 years. Breakthru recorded their first CD in 2002 and will have 3 CD’s available at the Festival.
