Breakthru (Gavin & Phyllis Prentice) are a two piece band from Geraldine, South Canterbury. 

They perform most weekends at Clubs, RSAs, hotels, private functions, outdoor festivals or race meetings throughout the South Island and in the last two years have toured in the North Island. 

They have an extensive range of  rock’n’roll, country rock, 50’s, 60’s,70’s and easy listening music. 

Breakthru recorded their first CD in 2002 and will have 4 CD’s available at the Festival.
