Melissa Moore is a young rising country star.

She says music is her life, and she loves to sing and play the piano & guitar. As well as taking singing lessons with an amazing teacher for approximately 5 years, she also teaches singing, guitar and piano.

"Ever since I can remember I have been performing on stage. I was actively part of the National Youth Theatre Company (NYTC) since I was 7 and performed in 2 large musicals a year, not only do I love singing but I am also a keen dancer and actor. My main focus is my music, and in the future I hope to make music my carrier. "
"Our family are members of the Eastern Districts Country Music Club, which we joined last year. I like to sing anything from Musical Theatre to Rock but my main genre is Country Rock. Whenever I am not at school I will do something involving music, whether it is teaching, performing, listening or practicing.
Recently I joined an all girls band called ‘The Fix’ and we are hoping to make an appearance at the Smoke Free Rock Quest in Auckland this year!"
