A chance conversation a little over three years ago led to 2007 Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year, Kylie Austin and 2012 NZ Country Music Male Artist of the Year Trevor V. Stevens joining forces to form what has become a hugely popular and successful country music duo.

Kylie and Trev discovered during the conversation that they shared a mutual love of one special song, the Alison Kraus / Brad Paisley duet ‘Whisky Lullaby’.

Kylie says, ‘One of us suggested that we learn the song and perform it as a duet. Seemed like a good idea so we did, and I guess the rest is history’

Kylie and Trevor now perform over 40 shows per year all over New Zealand.

They were finalists in the Duo / Group section at the 2012 NZ Country Music Awards, and appeared on TVNZ`s Good Morning Show in August of 2012. 

In 2014 Kylie and Trev will be hitting the stage at the Bay of Islands Country Rock Festival with backing band ‘The Beasts’ …. BJ Tunks (lead guitar), John Dill (drums) and Keith ‘Haggis’ McIntyre (bass) three of the very best musicians of any genre in New Zealand.
