Singer/Songwriter-started singing at an early age because he couldn’t play the drums like his brother so he followed his fathers footsteps who was in a Maori showband called “The Condors”.

His music covers the 1950s through to the 1990s. I have performed in various places throughout New Zealand, including Gisborne, Rotorua, Wellington, Whangarei, Upper Hutt and Napier playing at concerts, markets and RSA's.
Walter has recorded and released CD albums and appeared on television.

Walter released his first album in 1999 - “A Little Bit Country”
also in 1999 He won the senior male section at  the Matamata Friendship awards.
Released his second album in 2002 - “To You With Love”
Released his third album in 2003 - “Friends”
Released his fourth album in 2004- “Christmas Time”
Released his fifth album in 2005 – “Tribute To The Condors”
Released his sixth and seventh album in 2006- “Matua”
and his gospel album “You’ll Never walk Alone”
Released his eighth album in 2007 – “Portrait Of My Love”
and is writing & co-writing some original songs with his wife.

Concerts & Shows -  He has performed with other people like:
Papa Ruru, Bunny Walters, Marie Haslemore, Dennis Marsh, Ben Tawhiti, Marilyn Kingi(Rojene), Black Diamonds, Joy Adams, Robbie Ratana, Raymond Solomon, Dennis August, Rongo Brightwell, Charlie Culshaw, Tropical Hi (Gugi Waka), Ben Lummis(N.Z Idol) and many others.

TELEVISION:
2005 Appeared on Maori Television for the semi-finals of Maorioke.
2004 Appeared on Maori Television for Whakamoemiti gospel programme singing gospel.
